Both QRS and QRID mobile apps require the following on-device permissions:
QRS - none of your personal information is shared with us: QRS mobile app does not collect any PII (personally identifying information) about you. However, if you use public Tunnel Servers provided by QRID.COM, the servers will do some basic logging expected from HTTPS server. Also, it would log an Application Name and Application InstanceId which is a unique anonymous randomly generated identifier that QRS app creates and stores on your device. InsanceId is only available to QRS app and it is not available to other apps on your device. InsanceId and Application Name are included to every request that is being sent to the Tunnel Server and are readable by Tunnel Server. Public Tunnel Servers hosted by QRID.COM use these data to monitor service stability and performance, to rate-limit API requests, and to derive basic metrics used to improve the service. The InstanceId and derived metrics are stored for the period of 2 years after last use. The web server logs are stored for the period of 90 days.
QRID - requires your Email Address: QRID applications require certain basic information to provide the service. This includes the following:
We receive certain information when you use our services. Like the information you share with us, we use the data below to operate our services.
IP address: We receive information about your IP address. It is used to securely set up and maintain your account, and to enforce lawful and fair use for all users.
Cookies: A cookie is a small piece of data that is stored on your computer or mobile device. Like many websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to collect additional website usage data and to operate our services. Most of our services may not function properly if you disable cookies. When your browser or device allows it, we use both session cookies and persistent cookies to better understand how you interact with our services, to monitor aggregate usage patterns, and to personalize and otherwise operate our services such as by providing account security, personalizing the content we show you , and remembering your language preferences. We do not support the Do Not Track browser option.
Log Data: We receive information when you view content on or otherwise interact with our services, which we refer to as “Log Data,” even if you have not created an account. For example, when you visit our websites, use our mobile applications, sign into our services, interact with our email notifications, we may receive information about you. This Log Data includes information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system type, the referring web page, location, your mobile carrier, device information, search terms, and cookie information. We use Log Data to operate our services and ensure their secure, reliable, and robust performance. For example, we use Log Data to protect the security of accounts. We also use this data to improve our services that we provide to you.
In some circumstances we may have to share information with 3rd parties, because it is necessary to operate our services, or because it is required by law.
Service Providers: We use Analytics services (Google, CloudFare) only at the public static part of our website located at HTTPS://QRID.COM/WEB/* path. We DO NOT use any 3rd party analytics at the WEB APPS located at HTTPS://QRID.COM/APP/* path, nor in our desktop or mobile apps. Using Analytics services (at the static part of our website) may result into sharing your private personal data like IP address, browser type, operating system type, the referring web page, location, your mobile carrier, device information, search terms, and cookie information with such service providers.
Law: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Privacy Policy or controls we may otherwise offer to you, we may preserve, use, or disclose your personal data if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to protect the safety of any person; to protect the safety or integrity of our platform, including to help prevent spam, abuse, or malicious actors on our services, or to explain why we have removed content or accounts from our services; to address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect our rights or property or the rights or property of those who use our services.
Change of Ownership: In the event that we are involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your personal data may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction.
You control the personal data you share with us. You can access or rectify this data at any time. You can also deactivate your account.
Accessing or Rectifying Your Personal Data: If you have registered a QRID account, we provide you with tools and account settings to access, correct, delete, or modify the personal data you provided to us and associated with your account.
Deletion: To delete your QRID account, please follow instructions in QRID mobile applications. If you follow those instructions, your account will be deactivated and then deleted.

Our services are not directed to children, and you may not use our services if you are under the age of 13. You must also be old enough to consent to the processing of your personal data in your country.

If we make a change to this policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you via QRID.com website or email to the email address associated with your account.
